1. Information we process
We process account and language preferences, password hashes, sessions, API credentials, submitted sources, transfer and file metadata, stored files, support conversations and policy acceptance records. Operational and security systems may also process connection information. Payment providers process payment details; we keep billing references and subscription records.
2. Why we use it
We use this information to provide requested downloads and file access, manage accounts and payments, support users, secure the service and handle legal notices. The applicable legal basis depends on the purpose, including performance of the service, legal obligations and legitimate security interests where applicable.
3. Access and service providers
Access to files is controlled through accounts and their authorized connections. Infrastructure, storage and payment providers process information needed for their services. Torrent participation communicates with peers and trackers. Connected apps may receive the information and files you authorize them to access.
4. Copyright notices and disclosure
Authorized staff use notices and supporting evidence to investigate and record decisions. A counter-notice and its contact details are forwarded to the original claimant when required by that process. Information may also be preserved or disclosed when legally required. Notices are not published as a public directory of users or files.
5. Retention and deletion
Removing a file from your account may leave a shared copy used by other accounts. Account, billing, security, policy acceptance and copyright records may need separate retention for their purposes and applicable legal obligations. Deleting a file or account does not necessarily erase backups or required legal records immediately.
6. Cookies and your choices
The service uses session cookies for sign-in and a language cookie for your preference. You can revoke API keys and connected apps and request access, correction, deletion or other applicable data rights through Support or the published legal contact. Identity verification may be required to protect your information.
